I was pregnant with twins. Not to scare you, but my m/s lasted almost the whole time I was pregnant. Being pregnant with multiples is def different than a singleton. I guess it started almost immediately and was terrible for at least 20 weeks. I was in and out of the hospital for dehydration and malnutrition. I had to have a PICC line in to be able to get nutrition and home health nurses to check me multiple times a week. It did ease up some after the 20 weeks, but never really left. I felt like you do though. Just grateful to even have the opportunity to have it all

I hope I didn't scare you, just wanted you to know from a multiple mom stand point how different things can be, but I also know everyone is different Either way I am totally STOKED that you are getting 3!!!!!

ohhhhh super sour lemonade was my very best friend. None of the meds worked for me, including Zofran and Phenergan.

My coworker was like that. She actually had a line put in and she wore a machine that fed her meds 24/7. Poor thing.

I hope you can find a way to get your m/s under control.

Triple Yikes! Wow, I'm sorry that you had such a difficult time during pregnancy. It hasnt got that bad for me yet, so fingers crossed. Keeping my belly full with lots of small meals is helping and I am praying that it settles down after the first trimester. Right now, even more disrupting is the horrible indigestion/heartburn that is waking me up at 3am and keeping me awake all night long. I'm lucky that I can nap in the afternoon and rest a lot. Otherwise no way I'd be able to function at a normal job.

I'm also loving sour hard candy but I haven't found anything that is sugar free.

    Default Triplet Update :-)

    Hi Ladies,

So today I had my NT scan plus the doctor spent more than 20 minutes on each baby, counting fingers, toes, arms, legs, eyes, ears, noses, mouths and even organs. It was amazing. I'm incredibly grateful and happy to say that the babies look perfect, heartbeats are strong and the NT results were excellent.

Also, doctor said he wants to confirm at our next appt in 3 weeks, but that he is pretty confident that I've got 3 little girls growing inside my belly. Pretty Amazing.

I've also finally joined the April Birth Board since my official EDD is mid April.

I check in most days to see how everyone is and again I can't thank you girls enough for the fantastic support through all of this.

    xo Nicole

I'm hoping to get this thread going again for those of you that have had success with your IVF cycles. There are other women on preg.org that have undergone IVF and I think this would be a good place to share about your pregnancy. Some aren't comfortable joining a birth board yet so this is a place to hang out until you feel comfortable. Plus, I'd like to hear about your pregnancies.

Thanks for adding a post Meg! I didn't really realize this was here. I am out of first trimester already, though. I have joined the Jan birth board, but still feel so connected here at the IVF board.

It has been different being pg after IVF, for me anyway. I have been much more reserved about this pregnancy than my others. Really nervous about a lot of things and hesitant to talk much about it. It doesn't really feel real yet. There are a handful of close friends who know we did IVF, but most of the people I encounter don't know and I usually don't just offer the information.

I even got a "haven't you figured out how it happens?" comment from someone! If only they knew how it actually happened!

I am scheduled for the anatomy scan in a few weeks. I am, of course, nervous that everything is okay in there and hoping for the best.
