Hey Girls! I know its been a while. I don't have much of an excuse. Things have been crazy busy over here. My mom passed away in March and my dad is looking at selling his house and I've been helping him get things in order.

Rhys is doing GREAT! He is 6 months old today!!! Can you believe it? There isn't a day that goes by that I don't feel completely blessed. I'm so thankful that I had you girls to get me through IVF.

He is eating solids regularly now - breakfast, lunch and dinner. He likes pretty much everything, except green beans. I usually mix those with fruit to get him to eat them. He has his 2 bottom front teeth. He can roll from stomach to back and back to stomach. He's not crawling yet, but can turn in a complete circle while on his belly and is "swimming" in place. He just hasn't mastered getting his knees under him yet. He can sit for short periods of time unassisted and we are continuing to work on it. He has his 6 month appt on Tuesday, so I'm not sure how much he weighs exactly. My estimates are around 18.5 pounds. He is just a happy baby and I love spending all of my time with him!

Jana I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. Sounds like your little guy is doing awesome!!! You're doing great momma!! He's adorable!!! Is your daughter graduating to highschool this year? If memory serves correct our daughters are the same age. My dd is graduating on Monday. So exciting and I just can't believe she will be in highschool in September!! Thanks for updating. Hope you all have a wonderful summer!!

Yes, my daughter is going into highschool next year... I can't believe it! She was accepted into the International Baccalaureate program and we are all super excited for her and just so proud!

Good luck with your new "highschooler" as well... let the roller coaster ride begin! Have a great summer!

Thank you, Meg... we are all coping pretty well. Mother's Day was very bitter sweet this year to say the least.

Yes, Rhys is a super happy baby - at least now he is. He was what I would consider colicky for the first several months, but that started to disappear around month 4. He does get crabby if he gets too tired and fights going to sleep. Its almost like he is scared he is going to miss out on something!

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom...I can't even begin to imagine.

Rhys is precious! He looks like he is on the same hair growth timeline as Deacon was.

Christi - Riley is so cute! This is the first time I have been able to see the pictures.

Riley is exactly the same way!!! He'll literally kick his foot, or bang his arm repeatedly to keep himself awake in the crib! I'm like, really?
