Jenn...CONGRATS on the arrival of Kara!! I was stalking your BB and saw her arrival. Thanks for the update over here. Where do they think the piece of glitter came from? I don't have you on facebook. Do you want to msg me your facebook page and I can request you? I'd love to see some more pics of her. I saw a couple that someone posted. She is beautiful! Glad everyone is doing well and is healthy.

Just wanted to post - I had the twins slightly premature EDD (40 weeks) was 30 Aug but they arrived 31 July still a fairly healthy weight (5.10 and 5.14) but both had a stay in the NICU, totalling about 3 weeks. Anthony was out after 2 and Bella had an extra week and came home with an apnea monitor and a script for caffeine to help.

Here's a pic of me and my 3 IVF babies... (oldest DD was conceived naturally)

    And twins in NICU...

    DD#1: 16, DD#2: 4, and Twins #3 & 4...

Jill...thanks for updating us. Your babies are beautiful. I'm glad they are healthy after a slightly early arrival. It's always good to hear from the grads!

My twins were just born, this Monday (9/24), at 37 1/2 weeks. They are very healthy despite a difference in size/weight, whew! It was a long road & as much as I was worried about IVF, it was well worth it. We're all home now, recovering, trying to adjust to a whole new life.

Congrats on the birth of your twins. I've been stalking you a bit. I'll have to go read your post. Hopefully you can be an inspiration to others to use donor eggs. Glad you are all home and adjusting to a new normal. Thanks for updating us. Feel free to give us more updates on those babies of yours.

Hi all. I try to pop in here once in a while to see what folks are up to. Little background on us in case you don't remember or know me: our first IUI was Jan 2011 (BFN), then BFP with our first and only IVF in April 2011 about a month after my father passed away. Baby was due in January 2012 but ended up coming early due to my developing signs of HELLP syndrome. My little guy is approaching his first birthday this Dec 15th. The past few months have been flying by compared to the first couple of months after he was born. He was a pretty screamy, intense newborn but seems to be mellowing as he gets older He is keeping me busy, cruising furniture/walls and babbling away. I work a few weekend shifts here and there but mostly stay home with my baby just soaking it all in. Not sure if and when we will try for baby #2. Would probably try on our own first just to see if we have any luck, otherwise we have six little snowflakes waiting if we decide to try IFV again. Anyway, glad to see this board is still providing great support for those who need it...I know it was a great resource for me.

    Happy Holidays!

Christina...thanks for the update. Glad to hear things are going well for you. I can't believe it's been that long ago for you. Hope you get pregnant on your own but it's good reassurance to know you have some snowflakes waiting for you. Do you have pics to share?

I removed my pics, only wanted to keep up for short while for safety/security reasons.
