I admit I'm cutting and pasting this post from the August birthboard. I haven't really been on here since Nash was born July 25th and I plan to make some time to get caught up, but haven't yet. I've got a long list of excuses, but I really just needed some time to adjust and enjoy our new baby.
Anyways, I went back to work yesterday. Wish I could stay at home with Nash, but that isn't an option. The bad news is that my DH was laid off from his job a couple of weeks ago. The good news is that now he's staying at home with Nash. It's nice to have a clean house, dinner prepared, and a healthy, happy baby at home. We took everyone's advice and started a onesie tie dye business, too. Well, we're getting it started. The website is up (tinytiedye.net) with pictures, but we aren't officially "open" until Oct. 15th. We still need to get some other designs and clothing articles on there. It's a start though.
I had my PP appointment on Wed. and we're already talking about TTC again. It took so much for me to get pregnant with Nash, but we're hoping for a natural pregnancy. We're certainly not going to try to prevent anything! We're bf'ing exclusively (pumping at work) for now so there's only a 2% chance of pg at this point, but once my period returns we're hoping for another miracle. I was blessed with a healthy pregnancy, easy labor, and a healthy baby. If it never happens again I am content with that, but if it does we'll be thrilled.
I've got to prepare for a lecture, but look forward to catching up!
Here are a couple of pictures:
Me and Nash (this was an outfit from a friend so we took a picture to send to her)
Nash (3 weeks old)
My favorite picture of Nash next to a hibiscus that my DH gave me when Nash was born:

Beth - so glad you posted!! Nash is beautiful! I think its great that your husband is home with him. GL with the business. So very happy for you!
Beth...Glad to "see" you on here. That sounds like a fun business adventure. The onsies are adorable. I'll have to remember you guys when I'm trying to think of a unique baby gift. I always love to give home-made gifts. Love the pics of Nash. He is a cutie-patootie (don't know if that is how you spell it)!

Thanks everyone! I'm not sure how to spell "cutie-patootie" either, Meg! Our friend that put together the website is out of town for a couple of weeks, but after he returns we'll update the site with new products. We don't expect to make much money off of it, but any little bit helps and it's a fun family business because my DH, DSS, and I dye the clothes together.
I was just starting to get used to being a new mom (and thinking I "might" have time to spend on pg.org). Then I started back at work last week. I love my job, but I'd rather be at home. I used to be a total workaholic. That's gone out the window. It's weird, too, because I thought I would feel guilty doing the bare minimum at work since I'm used to putting in more than my fair share, but I don't.
Christi...I can't believe how far along you are! I can't wait to see your LO!
Even though I haven't been on here lately I still have dreams and think good thoughts about everyone on here. It's strange because I don't even have a face to put with many of the names. Names and faces never seem to match up in my dreams anyways though!
Ohh, he's beautiful! And I love the onesies! Good to hear from you and all is well with both of you.
Beth, Nash is just so adorable!! Huge Congratulations!!
Julie, Wow! I can't believe Abby is 1 already!! Time sure does fly!!
I'm so glad I lurked over here. I love seeing all the pics!
Julie - I'm so happy to hear from you! Abby is precious - I can't even believe its been a year!!! Good luck on your January cycle
Today is Deacon's 2nd Birthday - I can't believe it. I remember joining the IVF board and reading this thread and reading about the 2 and 3 yr olds and thinking it would never be me - and now look - WOW.
