:yahoo: Yay for being on team blue. Glad to hear things are going well.
So I've been checking in most days to keep posted on all of you. Looks like lots of cyclers coming up now so I'm excited to see a BFP very soon here!
AFM, we just had an appt at 15 weeks +3 days. The babies all look great- able to check on their hearts (except Tr1-too wiggly!), and other major organs ect. And so far the babies are doing great.
We have 2 things that the doctor is keeping an especially close eye on- my cervix and TTTS with the identicals. This week my cervix measured arnd 3cm and he'd like it to be about 3.5. Just 5 weeks ago it measured over 4 cm so that's a bit of a drop. He
wants me to limit my activity to walking and some light swimming. And I may have to go on leave (I'm a yoga teacher) as soon as a few weeks from now. I've already reduced my schedule ect and was hoping to continue until about 22 weeks. Oh well.
Tr1 (the singleton) and Tr2 both measured exactly the same. Tr3 measured slightly smaller with a slightly smaller amniotic sac than Tr2. Doc said looks like the ratio of fluid and size are proportional so no cause to worry at this point. I have an appt in 2 weeks to follow up. I guess at this point we'll be seeing each other every few weeks until the babies come. I love how proactive and conservative my doc is. Makes ne feel well taken care of.
I just started feeling like a human being this week but I am getting huge- measuring 20+ at 15+ wks! Still taking naps but the morning sickness and superman smelling ability have
subsided/ thank goodness. I've gained about 32 pounds so far and am right on target for weight gain. I can feel my uterus stretching more and more every day. And just started to feel little baby flutters this week too- it's pretty amazing!
All in all, things are progressing well and as they should. Life is good.
Oh yeah, almost forgot. Doc confirmed all 3 babes are little girls! We're thrilled.
Nicole...thanks for updating us!! I love to read all the success stories. It gives those that are struggling hope. Glad to hear all things are going well. Hopefully TTTS is not the case with the identicals. Sounds like your doc is keeping a good eye on you. Congrats on 3 girls!!
Thanks for checking in with me Meg :-) I have always felt the same over the years- excited to read successes because it helped keep my faith, too.

FWIW it gives me encouragement to keep on keeping on. Congrats on the 3 little misses. I hope that all is well at your next appt in a few weeks.
Woohoo I get to come over here now!!! I foud out yesterday officially that my IVF round worked!! We only implanted 1 so I'm praying that there isn't any natural dividing but only time will see.

The last 2 weeks have been a roller coaster to say the least but we are currently on our way back up again :-)
2 weeks ago my peri suspected TTTS between my identicals and referred me to the only doctor here in Singapore with specialized experience in that diagnosis. Before the new doc even scanned me he gave DH and I the reduction speech... I went bananas. Don't mess with my babies- I was like a lion protecting her cubs. I want to know how to save them. Period.
After the initial scans on a Saturday and then on a Wednesday, there was no diagnosis of TTTS but baby C (b and c share a placenta) was almost half the size of her sisters with less fluid. In the meantime, I had been consulting over the phone and via email with an amazing TTTS doctor in the states for a second opinion. He told me immediately to get on horizontal bedrest and start nutritional therapy which is supplementing a natural high protein diet with 3 ensure or boost drinks per day.
I began the bedrest and ensure 2 weeks ago and at Wedbesday's appt, my baby C had grown more in weight than both of her sisters! She is still smaller than them but her measurements and dopplers are all normal range. So it seems the bedrest and ensure are helping.
It was a huge relief and I'm motivated to continue my slug-like ways, even though I feel good enough to swim or walk and I'm drinking my drinks all day. My consulting doctor in the states was thrilled with the results too.
I will continue to be seen every week and my next appt is next Friday for a full screening of the babies in addition to all of the other stuff they've been monitoring. 3 more months of bedrest def seems daunting but I know I can do it. DH has been an incredible support and source of strength.
At my 19wk2day scans babies weighed: A- 325g/11.4oz B-307g/10.8oz, C-220g/7.75oz. That's nearly 2 pounds of baby! Now we just have to keep up the good work.
Thanks for updating us Nicole. That had to have been very scary. I'm sure glad you consulted with the docs in the states and what he recommended is helping. Do you have to remain on bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy? I'm sure whatever you have to do to help your babies is worth it. Good luck and continue to update us on how they are doing.
