Em, you're gorgeous! And Dani, you're going to have the cutest bump! I need to start taking belly pics myself, we were so good at documenting my first pgcy, but we've not done anything yet for this one... oops...

Dani, I stopped taking the baby aspirin when I stopped taking the progesterone... I think I continued the progesterone until I was 10 weeks? -ish? And I stopped the aspirin then. I was glad to quit it, I was bruising so easily from it and every time I had to get my blood drawn I bled from the stick for forever... :P

I am so nervous I am having a missed miscarriage...at 9 weeks, 5 days, I feel like my pg symptoms are really going away...I stop Crinone and Estradiol on Wednesday at 10 weeks, and RE said I would feelbetter after that...but I am feeling somewhat better now...less sore bb's, nausea doesn't start until mid- to late-morning, but still really tired. Plus, my stomach does not feel hard like it did...anyone feel like this around this time? I have my 1st appt with my OB's nurse this afternoon...do you think they will send me for an u/s since I am worried? Too early to hear baby's heartbeat on a doppler...

    (((hugs))) Augusta!
I've had losses and can empathise with your worries.

ABSOLUTELY ask for an u/s, I'd cry at them! If it is only for your peace of mind it is worth it. My OB gives loss mothers extra u/s purely for this reason. It is too early (WAY) too early to hear a h/b at 9 weeks.

Oh, Augusta -- I'm so glad you're seeing your OB's office today, I would definitely tell them your concerns and not leave until you're reassured! I could tell you that my symptoms have always ebbed and flowed, especially in the first tri, but that's not going to be any help. They _might_ be able to hear a hb with a doppler at this point, though it would be difficult, they may try that first before doing an u/s simply because it's easier. But don't be freaked if they don't find it via doppler. Please let us know how the appointment went, I'm sure all is well, but you want to know for sure!

Thanks, Emily and Andi. I am sure I am worrying for nothing, but just am anxious. My appt is this afternoon, so hopefully I know more soon.

Augusta, I hope everything goes well this afternoon, and the doctor puts your mind at ease. I'm constantly having those feelings of not being pregnant. I'll be thinking of you.

Thanks, Andi. I keep thinking that even though it's baby aspirin, it wouldn't be good to take it for the whole 9 months. I'm going back in a week to check hormone levels, and I'll make sure to ask them.

So I do not feel pregnant until late rin the day. But that is okay b/c my nurse gave me an unofficial u/s (super-old machine, horrible picture) and we saw baby moving like crazy. So, I will try to enjoy not feeling sick and not worry...well, try not to! I will have my 1st tri u/s screening in about 3 weeks and my next appt in 4 weeks.

Yay for seeing baby moving around. I'm like you, and need to have some kind of reassurance that babies are ok.

Did any one do the 1st trimester screening with the ultrasound?
