Dani, Congrats on your two boys! Glad everyone is now at home and doing well.

Cindy, I hope bed rest is not too boring....whatever it takes, right? Hope you don't end up in the hospital on rest.

AFM, I had my baby 2 weeks ago!! Nickolas was born 8 days before his EDD when he decided to flip, broke my water while sleeping, and ended up with an emergency C-section (did not know he was breech, probably broke my water when he flipped)....4 hours into labor induction when my Dr checked me and found out he was breech. C-section was not as bad as I feared. Nickolas is doing great, nursing is going great (not the trouble I had with Gabe) and Gabe has been awesome...no jealousy at all!!

Great to see everyone's updates! Sorry I haven't been here in a while.

I'm coming up on 27 weeks pregnant with twins -- a boy and a girl. Feeling lots of kicks and a whole lot less morning sickness. It's all good!

    Edited to add:
To those of you thinking of giving up hope, don't! I'm 42, had high FSH (30), and this was our first try at IVF.

Sorry I haven't been around a lot lately. I've been pretty busy at work trying to get things wrapped up before my maternity leave begins on December 10th. I do lurk and have kept up to speed on all of our new IVF arrivals!

I can't believe it is finally December and my due date is right around the corner!!!

I had an appt on Monday at 36.5 weeks. Everything looks good. In my opinion, I have a ton of swelling in my legs and feet and it hurts to touch it. My dr isn't concerned about it. He said it really wasn't that bad and he's seen worse. He told me to take it easy and try to keep my feet elevated as much as possible. My blood pressure is great - like 110 over 70. I did however gain 5 pounds in 2 weeks!!!! YIKES! He wasn't concerned about that either. He said based on the swelling in my legs and the weight gain, he thinks I'm just retaining a lot of water.

I'm not starting to dialate yet, but my cervix is starting to thin. He said he will strip my membranes for me at my appt on December 13th, as long as I've started to dialate on my own. I'm pretty excited about that. I know that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I did have it done with my daughter and she was born 2 days later.

Here are several of my maternity photos that I thought I would share with you ladies!!! We had a great time. The same photographer is going to do our newborn photos.

    Hi all,
Status quo here - the boys are doing great - my cervix is another story. It's down to a whopping 1.5!! I read somewhere that multiple D&Cs could be the reason for the cervix issue - although it often is an issue for twin pgs but not so early. I go back for ffn swab and u/s of cervix on Wed - sooo hoping they don't want to admit me. But whatever is best for them I will do. Nursery is coming along slower since I've been put on bed rest. I hope everyone else is doing well. I'm sure by now Jana has delivered. And Christi must be reallly close.
