Hey all! hi hope everyone is doing well!
Cindy so sorry to hear about bedrest....i have no doubt things will get better with some bedrest.
AFM: I've had quite the crazy few weeks. Found out we're having one baby, ended up in the ER due to bleeding, heard the baby's heartbeat for the 1st time in the ER, found out I had a subchorionic hematoma, which turned into a blood clot, was put on pelvic rest and limited bed rest (when i wasn't at work with my feet up, i needed to be in bed), heard the heartbeat, saw the heartbeat, watched the baby grow every week and then finally graduated to my obgyn.... had my 1st appointment with him today - and heard the heartbeat on the dopplar thingy.... i go thrs to check the clot and baby. I've been feeling great, some morning sickness here and there in the afternoon, but it seems to maybe have passed.... (fingers crossed)

My DECEMBER 2013 SNOWBUNNY is a GIRL!
After many years of TTC, the past year of drs, med, iui's, and finally IVF we should be celebrating my newly growing belly. But the u/s today revealed all 3 bundles of joy took, so all happiness went away. Not our happiness - we were shocked but happy, all of my drs however were apologizing and instantly talked about reduction. I get that this is a high risk, but we've been waiting for years and now we are being asked to reduce. The dr at the clinic called and started with how disappointed she was. It's really hard to find happiness and joy when nobody else is. I'm so hurt and confused. This is the beginning journey of my IVF. Who knows how many of me mother nature will let me keep, but until then I don't know how to get out of this funk ... and I AM pregnant. *sigh*. Hoping I can find some love and support from strangers I guess.
I've never been in your shoes as far as being pregnant with triplets, but want to say "congrats" on finally getting pregnant! It took a lot of failed treatments before I got pregnant with my LO and I still feel blessed every day. I assume your dr.s are being cautious because you are in the high risk category, but it would be nice if they could at least direct you towards someone that could provide the care you need (physically and emotionally). You may want to check in on the "pregnant with multiples" board, too. I hope that all goes well and that you are holding 3 happy, healthy LOs in your arms in 9 months. Before struggling with infertility I always thought that everything would be fine once that pregnancy test came back positive. Unfortunately, that isn't always the case.
Cindy: How are you and the boys? I've been lurking (lightly), but haven't seen any updates.
Augusta: OK, I obviously haven't been on here enough! Belated congrats on the birth of Nickolas! Glad to hear that Gabe is adjusting!
Jana? You out there?
And what about Christi?
grovey: I always reminded myself that morning sickness is a good sign of healthy hormones. Doesn't make you feel less pukey though! Enjoy hearing that heartbeat!
3-o-me, Congratulations on your pregnancy. I know a couple of IVF grads who got pregnant with trips. One did have all three, the other lost one early and had twins. I don't think they are on Preg.org too much but I'm friends with them on Facebook and I'll send them a message and ask them to look you up...maybe they can offer insight.
Cindy, how are you doing? I hope bedrest is helping keep your cervix in line.
I don't post on here too much but I'm almost 27 weeks. B-H contractions have really picked up so that makes me nervous with my history of preterm labor and early dilation last time. I have an appt next Monday so I am going to ask them to check things out. I also have liver blood tests (also have history of liver failure during pg) and have my diabetes check. So a BIG appointment coming up with a lot riding on it.
Thanks Kim and Doolittle - your comments are much appreciated. Had another appt today with the perinatologist to hear the risks/benefits from her. Lots to consider. I will check out the pregnant with multiples board, because at the least I'll have twins. We'll see again in a few weeks if they all stick and look healthy then move on from there. I'm glad I found this site/board - it will be very helpful in the months to come I'm sure!
JULIE!!! - glad things are moving along positively! I'm so very happy for you. I also had a clot early on in this pg and had to stop all exercise and take it easy - by 14wks it had totally disappeared. KUP
Kim - GL at your next apptment - KUP - Can you believe your almost in the 3rd trimester?! God - it goes fast!
AFM - The bed rest doesn't seem to be helping the cervix issue - it just continues to get shorter - this week 1.2!! I was told if/when it goes under 1 I will have to be in the hospital. The boys are looking great though - Reef is 2lbs 9oz and Tyler is 2lbs 10oz. They want me to test for GD again even though at 22wks I was negative - maybe b/c the boys are a little big. Here at a couple 3d pics from our 24 wk u/s. Tomorrow I start our 29th week and enter the THIRD TRIMESTER!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it! I just want these little guys to bake at least another month.
B (Tyler) is always sucking on something or opening and closing his mouth and looks like he's in there talking up a storm. Both are crazy active - not so sure if that is a good thing -
Has anyone heard from Christi? I would think she should've had her baby by now.
