AF the cloth diapers - I think I'd use them when I was home or the babies are with grandma being watched kinda thing. If we're out and about I will definitely use disposables or on vacations etc. I'm not carrying dirty diapers around - but I certainly will do my best when I'm home to be environmentally friendly.

I'm exhausted. We just got home a little while ago from our RE appt. and then some shopping while we were down there. Our first ultrasound was today (6w6d) and we were both nervous wrecks. We got there an hour early. As soon as we saw the sac and the little blob of a baby the nurse said saw the heart beating. I lost it and cried through the rest. She pointed out the flickering to my DH. Heartbeat was 131bpm. Not sure about the CRL because I was just thrilled to see the heartbeat. Our RE talked to us a few minutes and said he was particularly happy to see a healthy scan because there were a couple of bad ones today. Made me even more thankful. So, we go back for another scan in 2 weeks.

Hi all, thought you might like an update!

We are back from our big u/s and have a healthy baby BOY! I've had so many scares throughout this pregnancy and am still labeled 'high-risk miscarriage'. Today was all good news though! Baby boy measuring a few of days ahead, perfect in every way. Placenta is high and well out of the way, cervix is tight shut.

excuse the fuzziness, they are photos of photos!

Sophia came to the scan and was so well behaved. She kept saying "Mummy, baby monkey TV". She thought that the baby looks like a monkey!

    Today is a happy day

Congrats to all the pg mommies on here -- I hope we get more updates from you guys, Beth and Niki! And Em, sorry to be late, too, but I'm also so happy that you're having a wonderful boy!

So excited to be in the grad thread... it's nice to be able to update you all because the main birth board is just so huge and you gals actually kinda know me and probably care a little more about the umpteenth beta level or whatever...

Anyway, second u/s today, and we have a heartbeat! Measuring 6w5d, all looking wonderful. It seems so crazy that the little bean is just doing its thing in there, the FET was so less stressful than the two fresh IVF cycles we went through for DD, so I almost feel like we got away with something... funny how our minds work. Anyway, the doc practically said that they'll see me one or two more times, depending on how much they can bill our insurance (!?! again, he's not the most tactful RE there, and thus, I don't like him). But I do have to stay on the estrogen and progesterone for another 3 weeks until the placenta takes over the hormonal production. I was also able to call my birth center today to schedule my first apppointment with them, in three weeks. I'm so excited to go back there, I love that place.

The great news is that I was also practically cleared to do gymnastics, within reason of course. Since my ovaries aren't recovering from stimming, I don't have to worry about activity that will twist them, so I just have to be careful about falls and becoming overexerted. I can do really easy tumbling that's low-impact (handstands, cartwheels) as well as some conditioning while at the gym, so that makes me very happy. Not just because I miss the physical activity, but I've become really close to my gym buddies in the past couple years, and I miss seeing them, too.

Otherwise... I am sometimes nauseated, but I'm also coping with sinus crap which might also be making me queasy. But I can also be crazy hungry. Today for lunch I had to leave the house to hunt for those really thick Japanese udon noodles ... but couldn't find any. Had to make do with some Thai noodles instead. So yummy. Noodles. Yum. Really. Yummy. Om nom nom.

Forgot to mention: EDD is 9/25/10 (need to correct my ticker, that was my own estimate, but the official one from the RE is a day earlier).

Em - Amazin pictures, congrats on a healthy baby boy!

Andisings! So glad your pregnancy is going so well! Yay for doing all the physical activity you want!!! Woo Hoo!

I don't always check this board since it's usually pretty slow, but glad it's picking back up!

We're expecting a girl. I am currently 17 weeks and she's due Aug. 10. We had a few scares early on including VTS and losing one of my babies, but Alexa is doing great, I should see her again on Thursday. I've had consistent U/S since there were a few scary spots but everything for the most part is great! DH and I are off on a cruise on Friday. Exciting stuff!
