Lurker with a question...

I mostly lurk on this board but I had a question with which I thought you all could help me.
I am 12 days past retrieval with a 3 day transfer. I have had spotting and cramping today. I have looked up some information on implantation bleeding and it seems this would be a little late. Is it possible?
I asked my coordinator at the doctor's office if it could be the suppositories I am using and she said it might be.
The only plus is that this is something I have never had before in almost 3 years of trying. I just don't want to get to excited or upset just yet.

Thanks for taking the time to read my question!

Hi Minney and welcome, I had spotting from 8dp5dt thru 10dpt and my beta on 11dpt was definitely positive. Was it implantation or just something that happens in very early pg? Don't really know :dontknow: I guess you haven't poas? When is your beta? Do you have any other symptoms? GL!! KUP

Hi there,

I couldnt tell you how many times but Ive heard a lot about implantation bleeding for a IVF cycle. Not sure whats going on in there but if its different then it must be a good thing Smile Dont worry too much. When's your Beta?

Thanks for your replies. I haven't poas'ed. I am trying not to this time. My first beta is tomorrow and the second one is Monday. But my doctor's office will only call you with the results after the second test.
The only "symptom" has been cramping on and off for a few days. Then spotting and cramping today.
I just wondered if anyone had any personal experience. I will try not to over think it but its a long way to Monday. Smile
Thanks again!

I hope your betas are good!!

I've heard of a lot of spotting with IVF cycles, so who knows... I had a little bleeding 6dp5t and I thought it was over, but it was my BFP cycle.

Update us when you hear!

Spotting is normal during the first trimester, especially with the suppositories, because your cervix is more sensitive than usual and gets irritated easily. I had some spotting at around 10 or 11 weeks
Hope your beta was great! KUP
