What part of your morning routine do you consider essential?
Coffee!! I don't drink a lot of coffee but I have to have my one cup a day. If I don't I feel so sluggish.
Sleep! I HATE mornings!
Feeding the animals. I have two dogs, a golden and a labradoodle, both over 70 lbs. And two cats. At around 8am they start in...yowling...howling...pawing my face....whining...until I get up and feed all four of them. I do this before I get to brush my teeth or eat breakfast.
Definitely caffeine! I don't know how I went without it for several months.
As silly as it sounds, snuggling with DH. He has a bad habit of hitting the snooze about 10 times (no joke). I've gotten to the point of accepting it and to just snuggle with him for 5mins or so. I don't go back to sleep usually but with pray and center myself for the day. I know these moments are nearing an end so I try to cherish them while I can
I love hitting the snooze. My first alarm goes off at 6am, my second alarm goes off at 6:30, then I hit the snooze button a couple times and get up at 6:50. It helps me gradually get up. I need to get back into the habit of getting up earlier. When DH had his other job I'd get up at 6:10 and we'd sit and have a cup of coffee together before he had to leave at 6:30. I always felt better throughout the day getting up that little bit earlier.
