I'm sorry I have been MIA on the boards... I started a new job on Aug 30 and adjusting to working in an office has been challenging after working from home for 4.5 years. I'm loving my new job and the people I work with! And the best part is that I have new insurance...and because I'm in MA it means more $$ for infertility coverage!!!! YEAH!!!! So, I have $25K for medical procedures (office visits, u/s, etc.) and $25,000 for drugs. So, if my calculations are correct, I'll have 3 more chances! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!
We have an appt. on Oct. 21 for a f/u from my last cycle... we delayed this appt because we weren't sure what we were doing... this was before I got my new job. So DH mentioned yesterday that he thinks we should start trying in Oct/Nov... before I got my job, he wanted to try again in January/Feb... I think he's starting to get excited about the whole thing again!!!
And on another note, I've been having major shoulder issues. BLAH! MRI showed that I didn't have a tear, just fraying, but man is it painful! My first couple appts for my shoulder my BP was a little high... I just went back on Weds for a follow up (my 2nd since starting my new job) and my BP is WAY WAY down... it's now normal at 118/70!!! YEAH! Who knew that not working was stressing me out so much!
Anyway, I know I'm babbling, LOL! I'm just so excited to be starting up again soon. I'm so thankful I live in MA! If I didn't, there is no way we'd be able to do it again so soon.
*HUGS* I've missed you all!
What great news - new job and your new insurance. I'm very happy and excited for you. So glad to hear such an upbeat update from you.
This is such a great update! Congrats on the job. I remember when we were cycling together you were having all sorts of interviews. Sounds like you ended up at a great place for you, PLUS awesome benefits. I'm so excited that you'll get to continue on with IVF without excessive financial burden! Can't wait to stalk your progress!!!
Thanks for the update. Glad to hear things are going well.
It's good to hear from you Amanda. Happy to see such a positive update. Sounds like things are getting in place for you right now. That's awesome that you have coverage for IF and can move on with less stress. Hope your shoulder gets better soon. Are you doing PT for it? Also pain can increase your BP also, but it sounds like you have it under control.

Hey Christy: I made the move to MA from Western NY (Rochester area)... although it wasn't for IF. I would check into it if it's a possibility for you! *HUGS*
Thanks all... I know it's about time I had a good/upbeat update!!! It was really tough for a while, but I feel like things are getting better.
Wow that is good news Amanda!
