Re-Group (HSG results)

We had our re-group appointment with the RE this morning. He went over all of the tests we've had over the last month. The only thing we didn't know about was the HSG results. My left tube is open and clear! There are no more cysts or obstructions. The dye flowed through and out! Great news!

Our next step is our first round of Clomid. I will be taking clomid days 5-9 and then go in for an ultrasound on Day 12. From there they will tell me when to take the trigger shot and when to have "timed intercourse"...hehe. So excited to get this ball rolling! I've never taken Clomid before. Any advice on the side effects?

That's great that you got good results. I don't ever really remember any side effects from Clomid. It's pretty mild. Good luck. It gets exciting when you have a plan and aren't just waiting.

I found Clomid gave me really bad headaches (I also get really bad headaches from birth control pills). Would start around the 3rd day of taking the pills and would last 2-3 days. Other than that nothing major. A friend of mine found she had no side effects at all. Good luck!!

I heard about the headaches as a side effect and also vision issues. It's rare but it happens. I also heard that it gives horrific mood swings...I'm already pretty moody so I doubt anyone will notice...

LOL, sounds like me these days! Great results on your hsg! Not too much longer and you will be starting the clomid. I have no experience with it but I have my fingers and toes crossed for you (did you know how hard it is to type with crossed fingers :D )

So happy your tubes are nice and open! I don't have any advice for clomid, but I will be starting mine in Nov at my next cycle. So sounds like us first timers will be doing it together! :)
