What a crazy couple of days and for the first time in the almost 3 year journey, it's been a good crazy Wink
I had my retrieval on Friday morning. I honestly don't remember much about it as I was heavily medicated but I do remember the clinic being incredibly nice to us. Before we left they did tell us that they got 16 eggs!!! I kept asking them to repeat it and make sure it was the right pt b/c I was floored (still am really). DH and I would have been happy with 2. Saturday morning we got the call that 11 fertilized. This morning we transferred 2 embryos back in and will freeze the remaining 7 (2 didn't divide over the weekend). The drs seemed very optimistic and said that they looked very pretty. I joked w/ them that they are already beginning to take after their mother ROFL (totally kidding). So now we wait and pray and try to take it easy. I am seriously overjoyed. I never in a million years would have expected to get this far in the process. Thank you so much for your prayers and thoughts. I really do believe that it has helped me stay relatively calm.

Glad to hear you had such beautiful embies to choose from. Double bonus that you have embies to freeze. Relax and enjoy your time being PUPO. Are you going to POAS? When is your beta?

I'm so glad you checked in. I've been thinking about u alot this weekend wondering how your procedure went. Congrats on 16 eggs. How weird is it that we both had the same date and the same # of eggies. When do you go for your blood test? Are u going to POAS before hand?

Congrats and can't wait to hear the results in a few weeks.

Congrats! Those are great numbers. Does your RE require bedrest after transfer? Mine did the first day but after encouraged me to take walks (nothing fast or strenuous) to stimulate blood flow. My TCM doctor/acupuncturist said the same thing. I hope this is it for you! The next 10-14 days are going to go by very ssslllooowwwlllyyy. Try not to overanalyze- ha! Rest up xo

Thanks Ladies!!! I've taken the week off of work (only 4 days since we don't work on Friday). DH is out-of-town so my mom has been here and I'm about to get shipped off to my MIL - don't worry she's awesome so it's a good thing. That's why I haven't been on as much. I have been resting a lot the past few days. I'm such a 'piddler' so it's been hard but I have my eye on the prize so to speak. Since I did a Lupron Trigger, I have to go back on Monday for more blood work then the following Monday for my beta. I'm 99.9% sure that I'm going to POAS the weekend before just to prepare myself. If my transfer was Monday, I could reasonably POAS by next Sunday right? Funny story but my mom is convinced that it's a boy and a girl and calls them "Emmie" and "Bro" - like embryo. But she's a little kooky anyway.
Good luck to everyone else! I really have been thinking and praying for you all!!

Glad to hear you are able to rest and have ppl taking care of you. If you're talking the Sunday after this Sunday, then yes, you should have accurate results if you POAS.

Never doubt a grandmother's intuition. My mom called the gender of my LO the day I told her I was pg. She was so sure she even bought clothes for her before my gender scan and she was right.
