    Default update on my embies...

My RE called me this morning to update me on our embies. So of the five, 2 are 8 cell and 1 is a 5 cell and 2 are 4 cell. He said the 8's and 5 look very good, 4's not so much. He wants to transfer today the 2 8's, the 5 and the best looking 4.

I am so disappointed, I was really hoping to get to 5 days. I know that many women get pregnant with 3dt, and I even had a very early c/p from a 3dt but I am still so deflated by this news. I honestly feel like I should have saved the money and stayed with my old RE.

I don't think I will ever have a take home baby!!

Ok, pity party over...thanks for letting me vent... xoxox

Glad your pity party is over...I want you to stay hopeful.

When I had my m/c we had transferred the two best embryos we had. They didn't work. The next transfer we transfered what I thought were two excellent embryos and it worked - I got Deacon. However, when I went back this past March to discuss another FET I was dissappointed to find out that my 4 remaining embryos are all poor quality. I asked my RE what the point of transferring them is (I was depressed, what can I say) and he said "well, you have him don't you" referring to Deacon who was with me. I said "yeah, but he was excellent quality" and he told me that he wasn't. He was "just ok but not the best" Could have fooled me because he is pretty freakin' perfect to me!

So - all that to say that a less than perfect embryo can also result in an amazing baby for you...so try to stay positive until you know either way. I'll be praying.

Sorry you are feeling so down right now. It sounds like what you have are good quality.

It's great news that you had 4 to transfer! Hopefully, at least one will implant and you'll have a take home baby in about 9 months! Glad to hear you've got things going on to keep you busy.

I think that is great news!! My 1st cycle was a 3-day with OK grade embies and we got our little man from that; cycle 2 was a 5-day with a good looking blast plus one & that was a BFN. Let those guys settle in where they will be most happy, and you try to relax!!!

I am crossing my fingers that your 2ww flies by and you get the news you want.

Sooo...might as well ask now and get it out of our system-when will you start POAS?

    I'll be thinking of you!

Congrats on being PUPO! My DH just loved that term, thought it was hilarious.

Sounds to me that you have a fantastic chance- 4 embies! I agree with Brenda, best to get them in their mommy so they can continue to grow and get settled in. Even though I took it easy in my 2ww, I kept very busy and active. My RE and my acupuncturist told me walking was great to stimulate blood flow to the uterus.

Here's to a VERY quick 2ww and our next BFP on the board. I'm not only crossing all of my crossables but so are my 3 little ones, and that's a lot of fingers and toes!
