Did everyone get what they wanted for Christmas? What did you get?

We still have two Christmases left to celebrate. One tonight and one Thursday night. I wanted a pair of cowboy boots so I got those. My daughters wanted to get me a whole outfit so they got me jeans, shirt, a blingy belt, the boots, bracelets and even socks. Santa brought us a new TV and a surround sound system. Here is the outfit. I just had to share it since they did such an awesome job picking it out. I am not a cowgirl by any means!

Super cute pic Meg!! I wish I was that small

I didn't get what I asked for, per se, I wanted some clinique products (to hide my aging LOL) and I wanted the Twilight Saga book collection - I am sort of a recent fan... I ended up watching part of the first one just because there was NOTHING on tv and I immediately went out and rented (then purchased them all). I am not even into sci-fi but I love the love story. Anyway but DH bought me a Kindle Fire and so I purchased them electronically that was the best gift, materialistic. The best gift really was having DH home for Christmas (as many of you know he is deployed and was home for his 2 wk R/R). My DD's really had a good Christmas too just because we were both here this year- last year, I was deployed Overall, this was a really good holiday for us!

Love the outfit Meg!! I too would like a pair of cowboy boots! Someday!

Military Mom, Love the Twilight series!! I wasn't going to read them until I saw the first movie. It perked my interest and my daughter was bugging me to read them. I read the whole series when doing my 3rd attempt at IVF in an attempt at distracting myself.

We had a wonderful Christmas! We are going to Universal Studios in Orlando, FL! My daughter (14) has been wanting to go sooo badly to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Dh and I booked it in September but kept it a surprise for her for Christmas. We leave in just over a week. So excited!!

Dreamchaser...I love my boots but I had to take them back and they are exchanging them for new ones. I had a tack/nail poking through the insole where they nail the sole on. They are more fashion cowboy boots. We went to Universal in September. It was so much fun. All of our girls are huge HP fans so they loved it. When we were there it wasn't busy at all so we got through it all very fast. I'm not a HP fan so the HP part wasn't a big deal for me. We had more fun at the Universal side than the IOA side. How many days are you going to be there? We bought 3 day passes but honestly, 2 days would've been enough. We spent a day at each park and the 3rd day we went back to the Universal side. That side seems to have more attractions. I think they put HP on the IOA side to give it something ppl would want to go to. Are you doing anything else while you are in Orlando?

I haven't read the Twilight series. I don't know if I'd really like it. It might surprise me though. Soon my girls will probably be reading them.

My SIL got me into the Twilight books. DH and my brother (his GF is SUPER into them too) make so much fun of me but I don't care. They are an easy read. Plus Edward is so dreamy
I didn't get the biggest thing that I wanted but I did get far too much from my family and DH's. The sweetest things I got (that made me tear up) - My cousin and my dear friend C both got me picture frames related to our journey. My cousin had our life verse (Jeremiah 29:11) printed out and framed and C got me a beautiful painted frame with "Trust in the Lord" where the picture would go. She said that later I can replace that with our baby's picture. MIL and SIL got me tickets to see Wicked when it comes to town in May. So excited about that. My mom got me Taylor Swift's perfume. Between that and my love of Twilight, I promise I'm 30 and not a 15 yr old high school

Meg, We are going for 5 days. We also got the 3 day pass. If the weather is nice enough we might go to Wet 'n Wild for the third day. I'm not a big fan of HP either. We are planning on seeing the Blue Man Group while we are there.

Jenni, Sounds like you had a very nice Christmas. Have to say I really like Jacob. Have you seen all the movies? I hate that I have to wait until next November to see Breaking Dawn Part 2!

Jenni...what neat presents you got! We saw Wicked in NYC and then we just saw it again when it came to a town close by in Nov. It is an amazing show. Have you seen it before?

I haven't seen it but I'm pretty familar with the story and some of the songs. I'm super excited about it. I enjoy getting dressed up and going out on the town so I can't wait.
