LOL!! Now you know!
It is pretty funny, I come from a very conservative family (we are Mormons) who are very judgmental. I live in a province which is very conservative and judgmental and I am of the opinion that unless you are harming a child whatever your family makeup is not an issue. I am the rebel in my family :D I do have to say that I am glad to be Canadian where "gay marriage" is just called marriage :)
BTW, I figured out your situation from your first post :D Again, good luck.
Clear Water. My first thought was - Wow, there's going to be a lot of injecting going on at their house! Your partner will get all the stimulation meds/shots, you'll overlap in the middle and both be taking shots, and then lucky you gets to continue on the hormones for what seems like *forever*... though that could be because I'm projecting. LOL I've done 4 progesterone injections so far, and # 5 is today.
Here's hoping the emotional effects from the drugs don't hit either of you too hard. It's hard enough when one member of the household (me) is hyped up on hormones.
I don't even know what all we'll need to do to get this done, it'll be interesting seeing her on hormones though, her emotional levels are pretty even most of the time so if she gets hormonal it might be kinda funny! Lol
Oh boy!! lol
With both of you doing shots (hormonal swings aside :)) you will be better able to empathize with each other. I don't think my husband had any idea how much I felt like a pin cushion especially when I was up to three shots a day :o
I think I'll be the only one empathizing until the drug phase is over. I'm pretty sure she'll be too busy freaking out that she's an emotional wreck hahaha
