  • When Should I Have My First Prenatal Appointment?

    QUESTION

I found out that I was pregnant. My doctor set me up with a OB/GYN. My OBGYN isn't going to see me right away. He wants me to be at least 12 weeks along before he sees me.

I'm afraid that is a little to long to wait. This is my first pregnancy and I don't know what I am doing. When is the best time to first see a OB/GYN and get my first ultrasound?

  • Pre-labor at 30 Weeks?

    QUESTION

    Hi,
I'm 30 weeks pregnant with a low lying placenta. I've had one previous birth at 35 weeks.

I've been having a lot of backache, low dull constant back pain. The baby is head down and my cervix is soft. I have a lot of pelvic pressure. It's really painful even to walk -- feels like I can barely close my legs and as if she's goin to just pop out.

  • Is This a Subchorionic Bleed?

    QUESTION

I'm 6 weeks and 5 days. On my first ultrasound, they found a little bit of bleeding under the placenta but didn't tell me if it's bad or not. Should I be worried?
