Beyonce shares post-pregnancy weight loss secrets

It's no secret that pregnancy comes with extra pounds as women eat for two in order to ensure healthy fetal development. Recently, Beyonce spoke to ABC News about how she got rid of the excess pounds following her delivery. The songstress claimed that a low-calorie diet was the key to her success after the arrival of Blue Ivy in June 2012.

"I ate a very low-calorie diet," Beyonce told the news source. "I stayed away from red meat and ate a lot of fish, replaced pasta and rice with quinoa."

The singer claims that her body frame does not naturally cater toward a slim figure. However, working out and dancing constantly helps her stay in shape when she's not busy being a new mom.
