Another starlet has announced her pregnancy this fall, and it's none other than actress Emily Blunt, best known for her roles in blockbusters like "Looper" and "The Devil Wears Prada." Blunt and her husband, John Krasinski, announced late Wednesday evening that they're expecting their first child, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The couple has been married for two years. Just last year, in an interview with Manhattan magazine, Blunt reported that she would like to have children, she just wasn't sure when. An actress in the peak of her career, Blunt's concerns about timing seemed perfectly understandable.
But that doesn't mean the couple isn't ready now. According to Us Weekly magazine, which broke the story, a source close to the couple confirmed that, "They both want kids, it's one of the reasons they got a bigger place, in a neighborhood that you can raise a family. They both couldn't be more excited."
The news source went on to report that Krasinski, 33, who's most famous for his role in "The Office," has been "getting a taste" of fatherhood by spending time with other famous fathers, such as Matt Damon, and their youngsters. Krasinski and Damon spent time together during the filming of the movie "Promise Land."
"We actually wrote with children climbing all over him, and he was doing bath time and dinner and everything, and we still got it done," Krasinski told Matt Lauer on the "Today" show, proving that both parents did their due diligence before making the decision to start their family.
Like many first-time mothers, Blunt will have to balance her pregnancy with her blossoming career. What do you think are the hardest parts of being a career mom-to-be? Tell us what you think in the comments section!
