Gosselaar and McGinn welcome 'perfect' new baby boy

Those who remember the classic television show Saved By The Bell will be excited to hear there is a new little troublemaker on the scene! Mark-Paul Gosselaar, the mischievous but lovable Zach Morris on the famous 1990s sitcom, and wife Catriona McGinn said hello to their new son, Dekker Edward Gosselaar, this Monday, Sept. 30.

"We are overjoyed with the new addition to our family. We are madly in love with our little boy. He is healthy and just perfect - all we could ask for," the former NYPD Blue star told Us Weekly.

Little Dekker Edward is McGinn's first pregnancy, however he is Gosselaar's third child. He and former wife Lisa Ann Russell had two children previously - son Michael Charles, 10, and daughter Ava Lorenn, 7. Gosselaar broke from wife Russell in 2010, after the couple had shared a 15-year marriage. Gosselaar and McGinn, an advertising executive, have been married for just one and a half years.

The couple first announced the pregnancy in March, a little less than one year after tying the knot in July of 2012, at a small ceremony at the Sunstone winery in Santa Ynez, Calif. They claim the entire family was anxiously waiting to welcome the new member.

"We've always wanted a big family. The kids are looking forward to a little sibling," Gosselaar confided to the magazine.

The couple, who report a smooth pregnancy, say they spent a lot of time crafting the perfect name for baby Dekker. They wanted something that was not too traditional, but also not as odd as some of the more unusual names you see coming from Hollywood these days. "Dekker," they said, seemed to be the perfect choice.
