Ivanka Trump announces second pregnancy on Twitter
by Missy Jaramillo
Nothing compares to the feeling that comes with finding out you're expecting a little bundle of joy, and you'll likely want to share your news with the world! One woman who hasn't been shy about pregnancy in the past is Ivanka Trump, and she's talking about it again now that she's en route to baby No. 2! Recently, Trump announced on Twitter that her and husband, Jared Kushner, are happily awaiting the arrival of their second child, according to the Los Angeles Times.
"Jared and I are so excited that Arabella will become a big sister this fall," Trump tweeted on her account. "Thanks for all your good wishes!"
The couple's first child, Arabella Rose, was born in 2011, two years after the Trump and Kushner said "I do" to one another. Now, they will spend the remainder of the pregnancy calendar preparing for the new baby, who will arrive this fall.
Tips for your second pregnancy
As you look forward to the birth of your second child, you might think you're already a pregnancy expert. After all, you've gone through the morning sickness and the labor in the past! However, there are a series of lifestyle changes that may throw you for a loop if you aren't prepared.
First, you're going to need a significant amount of energy this time around. With another child to take care of while you're expecting, you might not be able to rest as often as you would like. In this instance, it may be best to recruit your significant other or a relative for a little extra help around the house.
Next, you'll want to reassess your finances to ensure that you're prepared for your baby. Chances are, you've already done some planning, but it doesn't hurt to think of other ways you can save money along the way. For instance, holding on to old clothing for your youngest child in the future can save you a lot of money, especially since babies grow out of their clothes so quickly!
Finally, make sure you involve your firstborn throughout the pregnancy. This can help him or her become more comfortable with the idea of having a sibling, and you'll be able to strengthen familial bonds along the way. A combination of these tips can make your second pregnancy go off without a hitch!
