Jessica Simpson allegedly favors the name Ace for second child
by Missy Jaramillo
One woman who's been in the spotlight as of late for her pregnancy is Jessica Simpson. The fashionista and singer surprised the world when she announced that she was expecting her second child, just a few months after giving birth to her first, Maxwell. Simpson and her fiance, Eric Johnson, are allegedly having a baby boy this time around. They have already decided on a name - Ace - for the child, according to The Daily Mail.
While the couple has yet to confirm the rumors of the new baby's name, one can only wonder why they're thinking about Ace. No word has been released as to why Simpson and Johnson are considering this name, although it has a certain ring to it that may inspire other moms-to-be to choose a unique one for their own children.
Selecting a name for your baby
Needless to say, choosing a name for your little one may not happen overnight, especially if you and your partner have different opinions on what sounds best for a boy or girl. However, there are a couple of ways that you can narrow down your options.
The Huffington Post recommended limiting yourselves to family names if you're having difficulty agreeing. Think about going back into your ancestral history and seeing what you can dig up. Another way to narrow down your options is to have someone else go over your list instead. An outside source may be the perfect way to decide on a name for your little one before he or she arrives.
How did you select a baby name with your partner? Did you do so in the first trimester or wait until the last moment? Leave your feedback in the comments section!
