She might not be packing on the baby weight just yet, but it seems that Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wants to stay in shape as her pregnancy progresses. Recently, Middleton was spotted shopping for workout clothes in London, according to E! News. A source from the store could not confirm whether she made any purchases, but it would seem that Middleton seemed intrigued by the selection available to her.
"Kate's been laying low. She's been staying at Kensington Palace and living the life of a duchess," an anonymous source told E! News last week about Middleton.
Most notably, the duchess has been in the news for her severe morning sickness and hospitalization, which came shortly after she announced her pregnancy to the public. She has since been released and making public appearances.
Exercise and pregnancy
Whether you're in the first trimester or you already have a large baby bump, there's no reason why you can't get a little physical activity in to maintain your well-being. Many expectant mothers exercise throughout their pregnancies to keep their muscles toned and bodies prepared for labor. Working out while expecting can also boost energy levels, prevent excess weight gain and improve stamina, according to the Mayo Clinic.
