Word of Emily Blunt and John Krasinski's pregnancy recently broke, but they're not the only celebs getting ready to welcome new bundles of joy into their lives. Several famous starlets are currently awaiting their due dates and paying their pregnancy dues in the meantime, according to Glamour magazine.
Not least among them is Gwen Stefani, 43, who will be giving birth to her third child with husband and musician Gavin Rossdale. The couple currently has two other sons, aged 2 and 5. Stefani is most famous for her role as lead singer in the band No Doubt, however, she's spent the past several years working on her solo career. Rossdale is perhaps most famous for his stint in the band Bush, but he also has a solo career and was a founding member of the band Institute.
Halle Berry will give birth to her second child, rumored to be a boy, with husband Olivier Martinez. Berry also has a 5-year-old daughter with ex-husband Gabriel Aubry.
James Van Der Beek, perhaps more commonly known as Dawson from "Dawson's Creek," is also expecting a third child this year along with wife Kimberly Brook.
Kate Winslet is of course expecting her third child, who will be her first with husband Ned Rocknroll.
Jennifer Love Hewitt will have her first child with "The Client List" co-star and boyfriend Brian Hollisay.
But what's maybe most shocking is the news that Simon Cowell, ex-"American Idol" star and current judge on "X-Factor," is having his first child with a friend, Lauren Silverman. Cowell once said he never planned to have children. Cowell has declined to discuss the pregnancy so far.
Even celebs deal with the baby blues
Everybody gets excited when celebrities are expecting, and these celebs and celeb wives will have more than their fair share of challenges as they approach their due dates. But while many of them will be navigating unique challenges - such as filming around those baby bumps - they'll still have to deal with the problems faced by everyday moms-to-be. Even famous moms have to worry about baby development, bloating, aches, pains and other side effects. Many have had to battle with postpartum depression as well, including famous ladies like Gwyneth Paltrow, Brooke Shields and Courtney Cox, according to Health magazine.
