Fertility Issues & Erectile Dysfunction
My partner and I are trying to conceive and after over a year I am getting a little worried. I have had blood tests and they were all fine. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
So, I am new to this site and blogging in general!
After 9 months of ttc my OB prescribed 50mg of Clomid. I do not take medication lightly as I am a side effect freak! I am also a bit of an anxious person to begin with so you can imagine where my anxiety level was when reading post after post of all relating to mood swings!
This is the long and short of my story, to this day. I don't care if anyone reads it, or even responds to this. I just need to get things out.
A year ago, I stopped taking birth control pills (Tri-Cyclen 21). After that, I had three normal periods. Then, Auntie Flow stopped visiting me. Now, this may seem like a blessing, but really, it's not. Missing a period or two here and there, is a blessing. Not having one for months and months on end is another thing.
I can't remember the rest of the words to the song (to my blog title), but it's exactly how I feel when it comes to trying to have a baby. This is my first blog entry ever. I thought I would do this to get my feelings out there because I can't quite find a blog from someone who has gone through what I have. Maybe by doing this I will connect with someone who understands what I'm going through. All of the fertility blogs I have read are either by someone who has gone through far worse than I have, or someone who was infertile when I started reading, but is now blissfully pregnant.
Last month I was sick and then my son got sick. I usually chart my temps. Needless to say at the beginning of the month (when sick) I didn't.
The New Year brings New Hope. This years my husband and I are going to do everything to mike our dreams come true of having a baby. We have already started on our New Years Resolution. We need a surgery for I can try to conceive again. I had a tubal ligation after my daughter was born back in 1998 not knowing what my future would bring. Resolution number one. Save enough money to get my tubes reversed. Mike has just started a second job and our first deposit into savings should be this Wednesday. Resolution number two I have to lose weight or the doctor will not do the surgery.
Dear Fitness Expert,
My husband and I have been trying for 1 1/2; years to conceive and are now under the care of a reproductive endocrinologist. I have been an avid runner and do some moderate weight lifting for about 6 years now. We had the Intrauterine Insemination a little over a week ago and I am dying to work out, but many people have said to just hang tight for a couple of weeks.
Is this necessary? Will running or lifting some weights have any affect on conception? Please advise...
I have just been diagnosed with insulin resistance and have begun my treatment. How long before I would become pregnant
I would like to know if you could tell me some tips on how to prevent miscarriages.
