Hello everyone, my name is Becki. My husband and I have been ttc for 3 months. We have a 4 year old son, and we can't wait to make him a big brother! We assumed that conceiving a second child would be simple, since our first was quite a surprise, but after 3 months I am starting to try planning a little bit harder! But I know that 3 months is a short amount of time to try so I am still very optimistic! When I was pregnant with my son, I came online to a board and I became very close to the ladies there and I was hoping to have the same kind of experience this time around.
Trying to Conceive
Hi I am a 28 year old mother of 3. I have all boys, recently my husband and I have decided that we
would like to try for a girl.
I last received the Depo Provera shot in April. I started to ovulate in October, and so far I have been pretty regular. What are my chances of becoming pregnant soon?
Just a question. I have taken 2 home pregnancy tests and they came back positive. Went to my family doctor and he did a urine test and it came back positive. Made an appointment with my OBGYN and they did a blood test and it came back negative.
My concern now is could the blood test be wrong because I am now going on 4 days late of my period and not for sure what to do. Any advise would be great. Thanks!!
Hi there, well i'm not actually trying to conceive but had to choose a catagory. However, I am a bit puzzled!! I have a 28 day cycle usually, regular as clock work, therefore my last period was dec 9th and I should have been due around Monday. However, I have had no cramps or signs of AF coming as I usually would. The puzzling thing is, I was away for xmas and returned to my partner on the 29th of december and well yeah we had some catching up to do! er hem... plenty of action... but I doubt I would have been fertile at this time as it would be day 21 or so of my cycle.
So my DH and I have decided to start ttc. We have been trying for about 2 months. I know it can take awhile and every couple is different. I guess I was just hoping that it would happen quickly for us. But I know that the wait will be totally worth it.
Well, well. My husband and I are one step closer to the journey of TTC. In my teenage years I never thought I would have the problem of infertility. I thought that when I wanted a child, I would simply have one. My mother had 3 kids with no issues as did many of other close relatives. In fact, my aunt had PCOS and still managed to have a somewhat regular mense and 3 kids. Only her daughter and I have had fertility issues, thought they are quite the opposite. She can get pregnant all day long but cannot carry and I just have problems getting pregnant. Here is my story.....
Hi. I have a very important question concerning my weight. I'm 5'2 and around 100-103 lbs. I'm severely lactose intolerant and have omitted lactose products from my diet, but I still have problems with my stomach, from abdominal bloating and cramping, to severe constipation. In fact, I thought it was normal to have a bowel movement every 3 or 4 days! Now I know thats not normal.
Can having chronic yeast infections over the years hinder getting pregnant?
I always seem to have one, don't always have symptoms, but tests show. I've done meds and nothing seems to help keep them away.
We've been trying for many, many years and no luck. I didn't know if this would have any effect on us trying.
So this past saturday we had an IUI. They started me on Clomid this cycle and also gave me an HCG Injection to induce ovulation.
On friday I had a ultrasound which showed that I had a good sized folicle on each side. I was extatic!!!
Then Saturday we showed up for our IUI and they told us my husbands spermcount was 14 million. Which was the highest count we have ever gotten ,and the mobility was a 4 out of 4 ... the scale is 1-4.
They did the IUI.. Which was almost painless... The cathiter kind of hurt my cervix, but I would go through with it no mater how painful
