I hope you can offer me your opinion on a problem that's suddenly gotten worse almost 3 years post-partum. I'm having some sort of prolapse. A rectocele, I think, that's been there since birth has suddenly gotten much worse over the past three weeks. It never bothered me or showed very much before now.

Sex at 3 Weeks Postpartum Too Soon?

Cynthia Flynn's picture

I am 3 weeks postpartum. I had an easy labor and delivery and my recovery has been pretty smooth as well. Even with a newborn and a 4-year-old at home I have felt really good and my husband and I decided to have sex last night.

We took it slow (for fear of it hurting). It was great. I wasn't sure what to expect as far as bleeding or spotting but I had no spotting right after or in the morning with when I woke up.

Running is my PPD anti-depressant

I delivered a beautiful baby girl in August of 07'. The first couple of days I had a lot of energy felt good for the first time in a long time. But after about 2 days it hit me again. I thought why am I so sad why cant I just feel normal. We were in the process of buying a house while we were pregnant and we ended up signing at the hospital the day our daughter was born. We weren't moved in at all, there was no nursery to lay my baby down, and the house chaotic. I figured maybe I was sad I never got the opportunity to nest.
