Isabelle F. - Stolen heart

April 8, 2014.  You stole our hearts from day 1. We were estactic with news of your pregnancy. Hearing your heart beat for the 1st time had both your dad and I in tears -- happy ones. From that day forward, we dreamed... we planned.. we fought over names and what color to paint the nursery. Each appointment seemed textbook. as the months flew by towards your due date. We had decided to be surprised at your birth for the gender. We couldn't wait to welcome you to the world at that time.

Then one night when you were 19 weeks 2 days old, I awoke and knew instantly something was wrong. We rushed to the hospital where doctors fought to hold back labor that wouldn't stop. There had been nothing out of the ordinary yet I felt guilty... I still do. There were no explanations given. You arrived in the late afternoon as the sky turned red in the sunset.

Your dad & I each held you... our daughter so perfectly formed. It was just too soon baby.

Isabelle - you were wanted, loved and cherished and will be forever.

Love, mommy
