Waiting for an appointment

After waiting impatiently to see a positive test I now have to wait impatiently for my first visit to the doctor. The receptionist was right about testing positive so is going to make for a long pregnancy! I'll be almost 8 weeks before they will see me. That's a month from now.

It's funny that I thought I was becoming a much more patient person. But those 2 lines are proving me wrong.

So, I sit and twirl my thumbs for a few weeks...hang in there little poppy seed. I'm going to talk you through all of this in hopes that I don't lose my mind.

These first few weeks

So this is the second child and boy is it a different pregnancy. I maybe had 3 boughts of nausea the first time and never really experienced any other symptoms. This time nausea has become my best friend, I get nautious constantly, but luckily these past few days it has been going away, hopefully this is the end of the nausea. I can't eat either, I remember having a few food items that would make me nautious, but this time I can only eat what I am craving or I feel like I am going to get sick, I tried a bite of steak and immediatley had to spit it out! I LOVE STEAK!

Week 11-I want to know more!!

I am 11 Weeks today and time doesnt seem to be going by fast enough!
I have my second doctor's appoitnemnt tomorrow, but they are just mmeasuring and weighting. I can wait until April when i get to find out the babys gender, i want to know so i cab start my registry and my mom can start thinking about the baby shower. Besides the morning sickness and the painful ligaments streching on my belly, i can really "feel" pregnant. My husband and i keep wondering when we are finally going to start feeling our baby!

First Doctors Visit today

So today at 4:00 I have my first doctors visit where I will get checked out and schedule an ultra sound I am so excited I know its still early in my pregnancy but I cant wait to see our little guy/gal.
I was reading yesterday that the earliest you can find out what your having is between 6-18 weeks but most dont till like 6 months, and as far as I know im only 3 weeks.

I had a miscarriage when I was 18. I greived, yes... but I was in a relationship that wasn't good for me and I don't mean it to sound bad, but I wasn't ready for a child. I figured it was God's way of not letting something happen that shouldn't have. I got married in September and found out right after the honey moon that I was pregnany again. It was a lot to take in for the both of us. We were really excited tho. But, I had been bleeding a little since half way thru the honey moon. I went to the doctor and he said it could be nothing but we would keep an eye on it.
