Bursting with life, the pregnant body can often allow for women to become multiply orgasmic and extremely desirous. Due to the bath of "love" hormones like oxytocin, coupled with vaso-dilation, the biggest barriers to sex during pregnancy is usually misinformation.
Early pregnancy's wash of emotions and body image issues can be profound for most women. Many feel as though their sexy factor decreases with every inch around the middle, especially in our "thin" culture. Danielle Cavallucci shares tips to help maintain a positive self-image and sex life during pregnancy.
The first day of my LMP was June 17, 2009. I had sexual intercourse on the June 25th, July 1st and July 8th with an ex-partner. I then missed my period on what would have been July 15th. I had intercourse July 18th.
My ultrasound on the September 15 said I was 13 weeks pregnant. I didn't have sex at all before my last period and that means I would have got pregnant on my period but I hadn't had sex till after it. Do you know when I possibly conceived?
Ok so i just found out that i was pregnant today. I am extremely scared and nervous. Any advice from anyone who might be reading? I have a long journey ahead of me and i want to be the best mom possible. I cant believe I'm writing that...mom...i planned for this moment three or four years from now. When i would have a house of my own, possibly married. Wow. Things never go to plan i guess.
I am currently 7 weeks, 3 days pregnant. My HCG levels have been doubling every 40 hours. The levels were 172, 1494, 10,301.
I underwent IUI and became pregnant during my first cycle.
At my 5 week and 7 week ultrasounds, there was only a gestational sac visible, measuring 5 mm and 6.6 mm, respectively. My doctor said does not look good and will probably miscarry. I should also mention I have a tilted uterus. I am not really having any cramping or bleeding.
So my questions are:
Information to come soon!
I have been suffering with extreme indigestion and heartburn for the past month. They say it is normal during pregnancy and that it is actually good for the baby. I did some research and found that the reason for that is our bodies slow down due to hormones and it makes for more indigestion which then leads to heartburn.I also found that because digestion is slower than usual our bodies are able to absorb more nutrients for us and the baby, but boy is it unconfortable. My indigestion and heartburn was so bad as to get it from everything...even fresh fruit!!!!
Hi Ms. Ultrasound,
I hope you can help me with my question as it would really ease my concern.
I am 31 weeks pregnant; the first day of my last menstrual period date was 26 July 26, 2009 and my usual length of menstrual cycle ranges between 28 to 30 days.
I had unprotected sex on August 6th (Day 12) and August 17th (Day 23). I really need to know whether the baby was conceived on the 6th, or the 17th.
Here are the information of my early fetal ultrasounds:
I found out that i was pregnant on January 21 and went to the clinic on the 22 to confirm the pregnancy. After we confirmed the pregnancy, we told everyone. WE were so excited.
I choose Dr. Hobgood and had my first dr appt. on February 3 at 1:00. Everything went GREAT.
We had our second appt. on March 2 at 2:15. We tried to hear our little ones heart beat but we couldn't. Dr. Hobgood wants us to go ahead and have an ultrasound done and get a due date, that is scheduled for Friday, March 5 at 2:30. I can't wait to meet my child for the first time.
I am 11 weeks and two days and I thought I started my fourth month at the end of week 12 but some are saying it is the end of week 14?? That's not even accurate on a calender?? Can someone set me straight?
