"Incredible," "awesome," "truly indescribable," are just some of the descriptions parents have used after seeing their babies for the first time in an ultrasound.
I am in my 13th week of pregnancy and have been sick. So sick that I have lost 20lbs. My doctor gave me these lollipops that was supposed to help but they made it worse.
Is there anything that I can do?
Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
My boyfriend and I have been through hell the past few days. This past Thursday, we went in for our first ultrasound and the doctor said there was one gestational sac, but couldn't find the heartbeat. She said the I was either earlier that I thought, or I could be miscarrying. (I have very irregular periods, so she said I might have ovulated later, or something like that) So she set up another appointment for an ultrasound for four days later (today - Monday), and told me if I started to bleed to go to the E.R.
Just found out I'm pregnant. I had a feeling since normally I feel kind of weird right before my period and I didn't have that feeling. So I took a very cheap store brand pregnancy test and the test was a very faded positive. I was kind of in shock.
Yesterday was my Husbands birthday and I went to the bathroom and used one of the digital pregnancy tests. And it said "pregnant"...I then told my Husband, "Happy Birthday" when I handed it to him.
After my husband went to work I went to Target and bought 2 more boxes of tests, All came out positive. I also picked up some Prenatal Vitamins.
I just found out I am pregnant, very new only about 3 weeks, WOW! I have a concern regarding the beauty products I use - they do contain retinol and my night facial cream contains both Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid. Should I give them to my girlfriend? and if so, what are some safe products to use during pregnancy to help with wrinkles and mild acne?
