First Trimester

Week 4

I found out I was pregnant during week 4. Yesterday I experienced an instant, sharp abdominal pain... I don't remember feeling that with my first. They say each pregnancy is different... so far, that's the only alerting symptom I had that I don't remember having.

Morning Sickness - None.
Indigestion - At night.
Hunger - Sometimes.
Thirsty - Always.
Peeing - More than usual.
Breasts - Bigger.
Tender? - Nope.
PMS Cramps - Yes.
Bloated - Yes.
Showing? - Is it too early to show?

I just found out I'm pregnant yesterday!

I just found out yesterday that I was pregnant. And the bloodwork just came back this morning so I talked to my doctor. And I am infact pregnant. Probably only a few weeks. Since this is the first time pregnancy for me, I'd like to know as much about what to expect, stories, everything on pregnancy. I have a few books including What to Expect When Expecting, i just want to know all different things from all aspects. I'm very excited and so is my fiance, but yet I'm also very nervous because all I can think about is the pain parts of pregnancy, espesially labor, and I'm not good with pain.

On a mission

The pain in my joints is becoming rather frustrating. This may be my least favorite symptom so far - as I got over nausea (for the most part) and constipation (again for the most part). Being hyperflexible to begin with I know when my body needs strength work and cardio. Being pregnant and having an increase of hormones that increase flexibility and joint pain has been quite a wake-up call. Actually it's been more of a nightmare. My body aches most of the time. My back, hips and metatarsals slip and pop multiple times a day.

5w3d pregnant

I am about 5w3d pregnant. I found out last week (one day after my missed period). Last year I had a miscarriage, but I also have a healthy 3 year old daughter. With this current pregnancy I knew I was pregnant before the test because of the symptoms. However, every day I am constantly making sure my breast are sore, and I get so paranoid if I'm not tired or having nausea, because my first sign of miscarriage last time was "losing my preg symptoms," I am so paranoid. I have a doctors appointment on May 6th (today is April 29th).

The waiting game

Well, been to the doctors, went yesterday for all the use it was, just made sure I was taking folic acid and the usual when was my LMP, which I have absolutely no clue about!

Anyway I made an appointment with the midwife and am just waiting for her call to set a date. Looks like i'll be having an early scan to date the pregnancy! but im probably about 6-7 weeks gone, no morning sickness at all yet which i had with my other 2 from about 5 weeks, i am still really tired tho and starving lol ....Ill keep you posted

Well here I am, 37, mum to a dear daughter who has just turned 10 - literally a few days after we conceived. :) We are foster carers and have been for 5 years now, and adopted a lovely little girl who is now 4 and a half. We are fortunate to have such wonderful daughters and have a wonderful relationship with them both.

First Trimester Abdominal Pains All Day Long

I am roughly 10 weeks pregnant and I feel nauseous and bloated and continually have slight pain in my abdomen all day long. I feel pain when I bend over, or sit cross legged; it seems I can only be comfortable when standing or lying completely flat.
I have had a miscarriage before, and this is my second pregnancy. Is the abdominal pain normal?
And should I be taking certain vitamins to avoid miscarriage?
