I have a quick question for you...I'm just looking for a little relief. My husband and I lost our last baby at 12 weeks..so I have felt more anxiety this time around and I am hoping that you are able to tell me that mild cramping (like period cramps) are normal for this time in the pregnant?
Just to give you some history- I am now 11 weeks and 3 days and for the last two days I have been having mild lower abdominal cramping. I was able to hear the heartbeat at 9 weeks and we had an ultrasound done at 10 weeks 5 days and I got to see my little bean dancing around and they even waved at me (and again we got to hear the heartbeat). I have been feeling really good about this pregnancy this time around, but when the cramping started yesterday I had an all to familiar feeling and I am now worrying myself sick that this pregnancy is going to end up the same...when I miscarried last time it started with mild cramping and I am just not able to ease my mind.
Is it normal to still be feeling some cramping this close to the second trimester??
Maybe it is just "growing pains," but it would be a good idea to get your progesterone levels checked just to be sure. As long as you are not bleeding, things are probably ok. Good luck!
