Dear Midwife,
Hi, I found out last week that I was 7, now 8, weeks pregnant. I have been having some abdominal cramping and was reassured that is ok as long as there isn't any major cramping or blood. Last night, however, I noticed some mucus discharge with a little bit of brown, after peeing. Is this still ok?
This is my first time and an unexpected pregnancy.
Yes, it sounds pretty normal assuming that your pap smear and infection check was normal. But ANY bleeding during pregnancy should be reported to your provider.
