Are These Supplements Safe While TTC?

QUESTION

Dear Nutritionist,
Is it ok to be taking a multi-vitamin, vitamin C, B complex, and zinc while trying to get pregnant?

Thanks,
Katy

Katy,
IF you are trying to get pregnant you should speak to your doctor about starting a prenatal supplement Women's needs are different once they conceive so it is important to ensure you are getting what you need as you are trying to get pregnant. A prenatal supplement would ensure safety and would ensure optimal intake of essential nutrients.

Good luck,
