Backache in Early Pregnancy
QUESTION
Dear Midwife,
I am 5 weeks pregnant. I am experiencing back pains, but no bleeding. I had a miscarriage last year and had sharp pains in the lower back with bleeding. It is not that severe. I never have back problems.
Is this normal or could something be wrong?
ANSWER
It is too soon to tell, really. You could request serial hcg testing if you are really concerned. Good luck!
