QUESTION

Dear Midwife,
I am an 25 year old mother who has an 4 year old daughter and my second daughter had die a year ago from SIDS

I was wondering can I get pregnant quickly since it's been an a year since my second daughter was born.

I already have taken my pap smear test and everything came back normal but I do have hypertension from my 1st pregnancy.

ANSWER

If you are on medication for your hypertension, you should not stop it. You have waited more than long enough to conceive again--Good luck!
