Beta Levels at 4 Weeks

QUESTION

Dear Midwife,
I would like to ask if I should worry cause my first beta test 347.7 2wks into pregnancy 2/3/09, second was 3,332 2/9/09 and two days later I took another beta test. They told me I should double or reach 66% but it came back 4,635.

Should my numbers be higher at this point?

ANSWER

As long as the numbers are going up, I wouldn't worry too much. If they do double, we all really relax, but in most cases, as long as the number is rising, the pregnancy is viable. Good luck!
