Maybe you can give me a straight answer on this. I am a little over 8 weeks pregnant. I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks and we saw the heart beat and it seems as if everything was fine.
This morning I woke up and I have a brown discharge. It's not a lot but it's there, enough to where I have to wear a mini pad. I called my doctor and she told me that this is not uncommon and just to wait it out.
We have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years and had 1 miscarriage last year that started out this same way. I had brown discharge for about a week and then I got my period. It was early and I wouldn't have known I was pregnant if I hadn't of went to the doctors. I'm afraid this is going to be the same thing. What do I do?
You can request that your progesterone levels be checked, just to be sure. They are probably fine, and your doctor is probably right, but with your history, I can certainly understand why you might want to check.
If that's the problem, it's pretty easily fixed.
