Can eating baby powder during pregnancy harm the baby?


Definitely eating baby powder is not healthful for you or your baby.

If you are having that kind of craving, please consult with your ObGYN and consult with a registered dietician to make sure you are getting your vitamin, mineral and macronutrient (carbohydrate, protein and essential fats) needs met.

Keep taking your prenatal vitamin with a meal that has some dietary fat and eat within an hour after waking, and every three to four hours throughout the day. Focus on nutrient dense foods, foods that have the most nutrients per chew -- more back to nature foods (organic fruits, vegetables, beans, grains, meat, fish and organic dairy and eggs).
