I was Raped and Want to Make Sure This Wasn't the Date of Conception

QUESTION

Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
I am currently 9 weeks and 5 days pregnant, I had an ultrasound done on Dec 12th, I was told I was 6 weeks, and conception was around Nov 10th-13th. I was raped on Oct 10th, is it possible I conceived then????

My boyfriend and I have been together 8 years, and he has NEVER got me pregnant. He had a torsion testicle when he was younger which left him with one testicle, but the doctor told his mom he would still be able to have kids.

At the 6 week ultrasound, we could just really see the heartbeat---if i conceived Oct 10th, the Tech said it would be way more developed. Is this true? or is it possible my baby would be developing slower or ?? I had another ultrasound at 8 weeks, the nurse practitioner measured the baby at 1.51cm and it looked like a tadpole. So it seemed to grow within those two weeks...

I am just really scared and do not want to have the baby if there is any possibility it was conceived on Oct 10th rape.

Please Help

ANSWER

Hi, I am so sorry to hear you were raped. The silver lining to all of your circumstances is that this baby cannot be from the rape! No way. You would have been almost 11 weeks on your Dec ultrasound if conception was Oct 10th. You were only 6 weeks. Hooray! This means that you and your long time man are going to have a baby.

Congratulations.

With warm regards,
