Dear Midwife,
I am 38 weeks pregnant and woke up from a 2 hour nap to find a wet spot in the bed. I don't know if it is urine or amniotic fluid. I called my doctor and she said if I leak more to go to the hospital. Any other advise?

If you are GBS positive, you should go sooner rather than later to be checked for sure.

But if you are negative, the only other thing that would concern me is your temperature. If it goes over 100.4 I'd definitely say to be seen. Even if it goes over 99.6, it's probably worth another call.

Here's wishing you a blissful labor and safe delivery!
