Pregnant Nurse
QUESTION
Dear Midwife,
I am a nurse and I work on a very busy med-surg unit. Are there any special precautions that I need to take now that I am pregnant?
ANSWER
You are not allowed to lift more than 20 pounds, and are not allowed to be exposed to any potentially toxic gases or other materials. Otherwise, you can work as long as you like. Congratulations!
