Dear Midwife,
Is it normal to show when you are standing up but not when you are sitting down at about 13 to 14 weeks?
Chances are (unfortunately) that what you are seeing is not the baby, but the mommy, especially if this is not the first baby. In normal pregnancies, the uterus does not even get higher than the pubic bone until 12 weeks, and then it takes until 20 weeks to get to the umbilicus (which is when most people start to show).
But every woman is different, so who knows? Your provider can tell you what's what.

I am between my 13 and 14th
I am between my 13 and 14th week as well and I do the same thing. But my tummy is getting tighter and is starting to show no matter what I'm doing. So I'm sure it wont be much longer for you too :)
