After sex last night with my boyfriend when I went to the toilet there was a tiny amount of blood about the amount of 2 grains of rice it was very fresh red blood! I'm 29 weeks pregnant and worried if this is normal. There has been no more.
I'm also not sure if it was due to a small cut that could of happened during sex as my partner slipped a little which did cause me pain. I never had this before and all else seems normal. It's never happened before and it seems a bit of a coincedense that it happened after hurting myself during sex!
Should I be worried?
During pregnancy, your cervix gets hundreds of little tiny capillaries on it that are easy to rupture during intercourse. Then you have a bright, red bleed, often followed by old, brownish blood later.
Usually, this is no big deal. However, ALL bleeding during pregnancy should be reported to your provider.
