My last period was January 10th. On February 20th I finally got a positive pregnancy test after having nausea, breast tenderness and mild cramping for two weeks.
Hi,
According to my last menses I am supposed to be 6 weeks but when I went see my doctor the scan didn't show a heartbeat. All we saw was a large cyst and two dots.
My doctor said that the dates could be wrong as I was on clomid and it could have delayed ovulation. I might be only 4 weeks pregnant but he couldnt confirm anything because he said the dots were too small.
I went for an ultrasound at 5 weeks and 4 days (baby A's measurements). Baby B was 5 weeks 2 days. All that was showing on the u/s (trans vaginal) were the 2 sacs -- no yolks, poles or hb's which the technician said is very normal for that early on.

Hi there. Yesterday I went for an ultrasound scan and the sonographer told me I have a small (4mm) hematoma. I've had no symptoms, except some abdominal cramping. Baby's heatbeat seemed good --179 bpm.
Two questsions:
1. Is this bad news? How common are these blood clots?
Dear Midwife,
I found out via ultrasound on October 28th that I am pregnant with identical twins (in the same sack). On 10/28, the larger twin (twin A) was measuring 5 weeks 6 days with a faint heartbeat. Twin B was smaller (I don't know how much smaller), and no heartbeat was detectable. 5 days later, on November 2, I had a follow-up ultrasound b/c of bleeding. Twin A is now measuring 7 weeks 4 days, and twin B is measuring between 5 weeks 6 days and 6 weeks 1 day. No heartbeat for twin B yet.
Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
My boyfriend and I have been through hell the past few days. This past Thursday, we went in for our first ultrasound and the doctor said there was one gestational sac, but couldn't find the heartbeat. She said the I was either earlier that I thought, or I could be miscarrying. (I have very irregular periods, so she said I might have ovulated later, or something like that) So she set up another appointment for an ultrasound for four days later (today - Monday), and told me if I started to bleed to go to the E.R.
Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
I went for my first ultrasound yesterday and I am about 7 weeks pregnant.
When I asked if everything looked ok the lab tech said yes but it is too early to really say. She showed me the heartbeat and sent the results to the doctor. I went home worry free.
Today I got a call from my doctor saying that I had an irregular yolk sac. She said something about it being thicker than normal. I asked her if I should be worried, and she told me to have another ultrasound.
Is there any more information you can give me about this?

Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
I'm 9.5 weeks and had a ultrasound a week ago. The doctor told me my sac (the bag??) around the baby seems small and the liquid is reduced? She said chance is half/half for continued to have this baby,
Can you tell me what's my chance , I can't wait for my next ultrasound for the answer. Please.
Dear Ms Ultrasound,
I'm not sure whether to worry about this or not. I had my last period between June 10th through June 14th. My OB confirmed the pregnancy and I haven't had any bleeding. My HcG levels my levels were good. Since I miscarried last year, she sent me for an ultrasound for viability and dates.
At my first ultrasound the sonographer saw an empty gestational sac. She said I may have a blighted ovum.
The following day I had more blood drawn for HCG levels. My levels were rising as they should. The OB said not to worry about a blighted ovum.
Dear Ms Ultrasound,
I have had 4 successful pregnancies and my last one ending early in a miscarriage. I'm pregnant again and according to my u/s, I am about 5 - 6 weeks pregnant. I saw the gestational sac, yolk sac and fetal pole, but surrounding the sac is a large black area. One radiologist said it was a hemorrhage.
I had my last period at the beginning of January, we are unsure of the date though. We got a positive pregnancy test the first week of February which we were assuming at that point I could've been 3-4 weeks along because we had been charting ovulation.
