My husband and I have been trying to conceive for six months now. I'm a bit concerned due to many reasons, some being family history and others being of a medical nature.
Dear Midwife,
I was scheduled for a Hysterectomy in the summer and then found out that I am pregnant.
I am very excited to be able to have another child but I am nervous about the baby's health and my delivery and after the delivery. I have one child now who is 8 and had a difficult pregnancy and difficult delivery with him. I was able to have him vaginally.
Dear Midwife,
I would really appreciate a response, as I am worried about the following issue: I am 25 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. I was 174 pounds and 5' 7.5" tall prior to becoming pregnant. I expected to be larger than in previous pregnancies and I expected to show sooner. I wasn't prepared for what I currently face, however.
The uterus is normally in a straight vertical position. Some women have a tipped or tilted uterus, in which the uterus is tipped backwards toward the back of the pelvis.
