    I discovered during my pregnancies that the people I know are liars. Sure they meant well, but had I known then what I know now, I'd never have believed them in the first place. Following are the lies they told me and the truths I found. I am so glad I have my children but I'm really glad I won't have to endure the "joy" of pregnancy again.

  • Pregnancy Discomforts, 25-28 Weeks

    Breast Changes tenderness, fullness, darkening of the areola

    • A well-fitted bra with cotton straps that support the breasts may prevent much of the discomfort associated with pregnancy changes

    Frequent Urination

    • Omit or decrease the amount of caffeine coffee, tea, colas, and chocolate)
    • Decrease fluid intake 2-3 hours before bedtime
    • Drink at least 8-10 glasses of fluid daily
    • Do your Kegel exercises

    Constipation

    • Maintain an adequate fluid intake
    • Include fiber in your diet

    The onset and degree of pregnancy symptoms will vary within women. Many women experience them within days of conception, others take a few weeks before pregnancy symptoms kick in and a lucky few feel no discomfort at all.
