Bed rest will differ from woman to woman and may range from simple periodic resting at home to full bed rest and monitoring in a hospital.
high risk pregnancy
I got a call from the OB/GYN's office and they said I should come in tomorrow to meet with the doctor! Ahh....finally....a chance to get my questions answered.
The meeting with the doctor went rather well. I was really glad that my husband was with me to hear the doctor's answers. I think it helped him to understand my concerns better. But I was not completely satisfied with my doctor's answers.
I woke up this morning and took my shot, and all my other meds. Things were going ok until I went to the bathroom and noticed some spotting.
Today was our first ultrasound. I was so thankful that my husband was with me. While I was sitting in the office, I tried to avoid seeing any of the pregnant bellies or the little babies.
I officially passed one of the milestones. I made it passed the 7th week miscarriage (loss number 5.) Now I just have to get through the 8th week and the 20-week milestones and I will be able to breathe easier.
What a crazy week this has been. I haven't had much time to think about our pregnancy with everything that has been going on. I guess that is a good thing though.
Another milestone passed and only one more to go! Today I went in for my first physical exam and another ultrasound.
Nothing much has changed around here. I am trying my best to get my house cleaned before my in-laws arrive this weekend. The countdown is on for the cerclage so I feel especially anxious to get my house in order beforehand.
I have been so tired as of late but that is a wonderful thing. I remember feeling this tired when I was pregnant with our little Gabriel. I just want to sleep all day so I have been doing my best to get to bed early and take it easy.
